I’m Sarah Calavera, a printmaker and graphic artist based in County Durham. My work explores how art is encountered and experienced in unexpected places when it moves between street art paste-up, print, zines, artist books and large-scale visual work, from the studio to walls, pages and public spaces.
About
I’m Sarah Calavera, a printmaker and graphic artist based in County Durham. My work explores how art is encountered and experienced in unexpected places when it moves between street art paste-up, print, zines, artist books and large-scale visual work, from the studio to walls, pages and public spaces. Through bold graphic imagery, layered textures and a darkly playful visual language, I create work that invites curiosity, participation and a different way of noticing everyday places.
