Pamela Ormston Art is a painter capturing the rhythms of shoreline life through oil on canvas, focusing on recurring coastal motifs and seaside rituals, offering original paintings, prints, and commission opportunities from her studio in Cullercoats, North East England.
About
Originally from Dublin and now painting from my studio in Cullercoats, I capture the lively rhythms of shoreline life through oil on canvas. My work celebrates recurring coastal motifs—pier jumpers, wild swimmers, and seaside rituals—offering a sense of connection and quiet nostalgia. Whether you’re looking to purchase original paintings and prints or collaborate on a unique commission, I’d love to connect!
A look at the work

Currently part of the Baltic Open Submission 2026; this piece laments the end of infancy as the child starts to push away the mother's protective hand with fierce independance.

Exhibited with the New Light Summer Exhibition 2025.

Inspired by the wonderful and fulfilling chatter of a sea swim.

Exhibited with the Royal Society of Marine Artists 2025 and the Northumberland Open 2025.
