About Leoni Andrews-Dingwall

Leoni is a Newcastle-based visual artist whose work draws on lived experience from a council estate, memory and social history. Working across painting, collage, sculpture, writing and found materials, she explores themes including childhood, class, addiction, family and socioeconomic inequality. Her practice is rooted in the belief that art can make personal experience visible while creating connection and recognition for others. A recent Fine Art graduate, Leoni was a joint winner of the 2026 New Graduate Award from Middlesbrough Art Week and The Auxiliary.
