Hannah Thorpe Art is a self-taught freelance artist and tutor who creates colourful, expressive artworks and teaches others to do the same through small group and one-to-one sessions, drawing on her experience as a Resident Artist and Tutor for an online art academy.
About
I love big skies, sweeping landscapes, colour, tiny details and capturing light. More than anything, however, I enjoy working with people; teaching small groups or individuals to make "proper" art without stress, and working closely with clients to bring their vision to colourful, artist life. Self taught, I learnt art through hard graft, practice and getting it wrong! A freelance artist since 2019, I also worked as a full time Resident Artist and Tutor for an online art academy for almost 2 years (2024-26). I love variety, challenge and collaborative projects. I paint and draw a variety of subjects in a variety of mediums and will turn my hand to most interesting projects.
