Danski Designs is a maker based in Newcastle upon Tyne, specialising in upcycling and pyrography, creating intricate, nature-inspired designs on reclaimed wooden furniture, often drawing from mandalas and alchemy for creative influence.
About
Hi I'm Stu- I love to make or reclaim old pieces of wooden furniture, bring them back to life and burn beautiful patterns onto them. Mandalas are the main inspiration for my chosen designs. I also draw inspiration from alchemy and nature. Pyrography takes patience and I've put thousands of hours into my work- in this light I see my work as permission to slow the fuck down and be free to create.
