About Carolina Rosas

I’m a Newcastle-based artist creating original paintings inspired by landscapes, nature and the places we form connections with. My work explores colour, light and texture, often focusing on the memories and feelings a place can hold. Alongside my paintings and exhibitions, I run Pause & Paint, artist-guided creative sessions that encourage people to explore painting in their own way. For me it’s really important making art accessible, whether that means finding a personal connection with a painting or discovering the enjoyment of creating something yourself.
